What hours is the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle open to visit or attended Mass in person?

The Basilica is open from 8:00AM to 7:00PM, Monday through Saturday and 6:30AM to 8:00PM on Sunday. We have Masses every day, Monday – Saturday 11:30AM and 5:30PM, and 6:30AM on Tuesday and Thursday. On Sunday we have Masses at 7:00AM, 9:00AM, 10:30AM, 12:00PM, 1:30PM, 3:00PM and 7:00PM

I would like to dedicate a Mass Intention at the Basilica; how can I do that?

You can dedicate a Mass Intention by visiting the Information Office (little Gift Shop) inside of the church.

When do you offer Baptisms?

The Basilica does not offer the Sacraments, you would need to contact your local parish for that information.

How do we go about getting married at the Basilica?

The Basilica does not offer the Sacrament of marriage, you would need to contact your local parish to start the process.

Who do I need to talk to so that my daughter can have her quinceañera at the Basilica?

The Basilica does not offer quinceañera Masses, you would need to contact your local parish.

Who do I need to talk to be able take (wedding, quinceañera, graduation, etc.) photos at the Basilica?

There is some paperwork that need to be filled out at the Information Office located inside of the Basilica. Photos/shoots can only be taken in the garden area of the grounds; photos/shoots inside of the church are not allowed.

I need help paying my bills and I don’t have anywhere to live; who can help me?

You would need to contact Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley at 956-702-4088, they may be able to assist you.

I need to make an appointment with the Immigration lawyer that is located by the Basilica, how do I contact them?

You would need to call the Immigration Services Office for the Diocese of Brownsville at 956-784-5057 for information.
