Bishop Daniel E. Flores Blesses New Chapel of Adoration
December 10, 2025 – San Juan, Texas
With great joy and gratitude, the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle – National Shrine welcomed the Most Reverend Daniel E. Flores, S.T.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Brownsville, on Tuesday, December 10, 2025, for the solemn blessing of our newly constructed Chapel of Adoration.
Surrounded by clergy, shrine staff, volunteers, and faithful pilgrims, Bishop Flores consecrated this sacred space dedicated to perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, where the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed day and night for the prayer and devotion of all who visit.
This new chapel is a testament to the deep love our community has for the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and for Our Lady of San Juan del Valle, who continues to draw countless souls closer to her Son.

The Chapel of Adoration is now open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except during scheduled cleaning and maintenance). We invite you to come, kneel before the Lord, and experience the peace that only His presence can give.
