The beautiful St. Eugene de Mazenod Renewal Center is located on the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle campus in San Juan, Texas. It is part of the Catholic Diocese of Brownsville. We welcome all groups/ organizations to come and experience this one of a kind facility. We have a large meeting hall, small conference room, dining room, full operating kitchen, Chapel, private backyard and 30 bedrooms that can occupy up 90 persons. We offer a tranquil place for nourishment, prayer, spiritual growth, peace, healing and calm.

Our goal is to provide excellent service to all those that visit. We have catering services available for all meals or just provide what you need for your event. Our hope is to support our clients/guests so that they can focus on having a successful, productive retreat/event. We offer meals/plan at affordable prices without sacrificing the quality. Set up, linens, & china are also available upon request. The facility provides tables, chairs, sound system, & bedding.

At the heart of St. Eugene Retreat Center is a desire to help people find Christ and grow in their faith. We desire to be a place where people of all ages come for a one day or week-long retreat/conference for spiritual renewal, fellowship and fun, or simply a quiet reprieve from the hectic pace of everyday life. This is a place where both the religious and lay persons (Men, women, and teens) can enjoy. It is conveniently located right across the street from the beautiful Basilica Shrine. The campus also includes gift shop, hotel, & café. Basilica staff is available 24/7 to ensure security to visitors.
