The Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle is reaching out to the community for help in locating items that once belonged to the original Shrine, which tragically perished in 1970. Rector Father Jorge Gomez is spearheading this effort to recover lost or damaged items that hold significant historical and spiritual value.
The original Shrine was a beacon of faith and a testament to our rich heritage. Despite the devastating loss, we believe that many items from the Shrine might still be in the hands of those who wish to see them returned to their rightful place.
