Blessed Padre Miguel Pro was a Mexican Jesuit priest who courageously served the faithful during the persecution of the Church in the 1920s. Forced to live and minister in secret, he brought the sacraments to people despite constant danger. Falsely accused of a crime he did not commit, he was executed without trial in 1927. Facing death with faith and forgiveness, he proclaimed “¡Viva Cristo Rey!” and became a lasting witness to courage, joy, and fidelity to Christ.
El Beato Padre Miguel Pro fue un sacerdote jesuita mexicano que sirvió valientemente a los fieles durante la persecución de la Iglesia en la década de 1920. Obligado a vivir y ministrar en secreto, llevó los sacramentos al pueblo a pesar del peligro constante. Falsamente acusado de un crimen que no cometió, fue ejecutado sin juicio en 1927.
