1 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” 3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributed and resting on each one of them. 4 And they were filled with the holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

1 Cuando llegó el día de Pentecostés, estaban todos reunidos en el mismo lugar. 2 De repente vino el cielo un ruido, como el de una violenta ráfaga de viento, que llenó toda la casa donde estaban, 3 y aparecieron unas lenguas como de fuego que repartieron y fueron posándose sobre cada uno de ellos. 4 Todos quedaron llenos del Espíritu Santo y comenzaron a hablar en otras lenguas, según el Espíritu les concedía que se expresaran.
